Educational Qualification:Candidates should possess Graduation in Law/ Social work or Sociology or Home Sc/n Commerce/ Commerce with Audit & Accountancy,in Science as with one subject as Physics/ Maths/ Statistics/ Agriculture, B.Sc.(Agri.) or B.Sc. (Biology) Group/ Post Graduate in Maths or Statistics. Refer notification for post wise educational qualification details.

Age Limit: Interested candidates who are appearing for this post should have the age of 21-40 years.
Relaxation of Age:
- SC/ST Candidates :5 years
- OBC Candidates :3 years

Hiring Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in preliminary examination, main examination and interview.
Application Fee :Candidates belongs to the unreserved and other backward class have to pay the examination and online processing fee of Rs.115/- and SC/ST candidates have to pay the fee of Rs.55/- and handicapped candidates have to pay the online charges of Rs.15/-. Fee must be paid through E-Challan at any of the branches of State Bank of India or Punjab National Bank.
- Unreserved (General) – Exam fee ` 100/- + On-line processing fee ` 15/- Total = ` 115/-
- Other Backward Class – Exam fee ` 100/- + On-line processing fee ` 15/- Total = ` 115/-
- Scheduled Caste – Exam fee ` 40/- + On-line processing fee ` 15/- Total = ` 55/-
- Scheduled Tribe – Exam fee ` 40/- + On-line processing fee ` 15/- Total = ` 55/-
- Handicapped – Exam fee NIL + On-line processing fee ` 15/- Total = ` 15/-
How To Apply:The applicants are to apply through “ON LINE” on the Website of http://uppsc.up.nic.in .The Website will be open from 16th Aug 2013 to 21st Sep 2013 upto 5 PM. After filling up the ON-LINE application; Candidates have to take a print out of the same.
Some Instructions:
- Before apply online candidates should scan their passport size photograph and signature.
- Log on to website http://uppsc.up.nic.in.
- Click on ‘All Notification/Advertisement Details’–> ‘Online Advertisement’
- Click on appropriate link to which you are desirous to see and click on ‘Apply Online Application’.
- Fill the online application with basic information and submit. Thereafter candidate Registration Acknowledgmen shall be displayed which can be printed by Clicking the ‘Print’ Button.
- Deposit the application fee as mentioned above.
- After depositing the fee in the Bank, the candidate two day after on the working day shall enter information On-line in the format, available on Commission’s website by clicking “Submit Application Form”.
- Enter the necessary details and click the submit button and take the print out of the application.
