Job Detail:

  • Name of the Post:Co-Operative Inspector

Educational Qualification:Candidates should have a

a) Graduate of a recognized University or equivalent.
b) Knowledge in Bengali language.

Desirable Qualification:

a) Training in Co-Operation from recognized Co-Operative Training Institute.
b)Development bias and connected with organization, dealing with welfare activities.

Total No. of Post:83-Post

Pay Scale:Selected candidates would be eligible to get the pay scale of around Rs. 5310-24000/- Pay Band-2 with Grade Pay of Rs. 2400/-

Age Limit: Candidates who are appearing for this post should have the 18 to 40 years as on 25-10-2013.

Note:The upper age limit is relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below.

i) By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST communities.
ii) By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities.
iii) By 5 years to candidates who have originally been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989.

Selection Process: The selection methodology will Based on  Interview Only.

Note:The Recruitment process will comprise of three successive stages viz. (i) Preliminary Examination of 100 marks (Multiple Choice Type Test), (ii) Main Examination of 200 Marks (Conventional Type Test) and (iii) Personality Test of 50 Marks.

Application Fees:

(i) Group-A Posts:- Rs.200/- (Rupees Two Hundred) only for General Candidates and Rs. 150/- (Rupees One Hundred and Fifty) only for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates.
(ii) Group-B Posts:- Rs.150/- (Rupees One Hundred and fifty) only for General Candidates and Rs. 100/-(Rupees one hundred) only for ST/SC/BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates.
(iii) Group-C Posts:- Rs.100/- (Rupees one hundred) only for General Candidates and Rs.50/-(Rupees fifty) only for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates.

How to Apply: Application in the prescribed form duly filled in by the candidate and 2(two) copies of recent stamp size photographs of the candidate affixed on the Application and Admit Card to be submitted to the Reception Counter of the TPSC Secretariat by 5.00 PM of the closing date(25-10-13). Applicants may obtain the acknowledgement including Receipt Number from reception counter of the Commission

About the Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC):

The provision for constitution of Public Service Commission was first incorporated under Article 96C of the
Government of India Act,1919. Thereafter in 1923 ‘Lee Commission’ was constituted for the purpose of
formulating the principles/terms and conditions of Public Service Commission. Subsequently, as per
recommendations of the ‘Lee Commission’ Federal Public Service Commission was established in India
for the first time, on 1st October, 1926. Lee Commission also recommended for establishment of
Provincial Public Service Commissions

Tripura got her statehood on 21st January,1972  and Tripura Public Service Commission was established
on 30th October, 1972, under the provisions of Article 315 of the Constitution of India.
Sri G.P.Bagchi was the first Chairman and Sri I.K.Roy was the first Member of the Tripura Public
Service Commission. The Commission is, at present, located at the old Assembly House of Tripura,
at Akhaura Road, Agartala.
