Job Description:- Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeobotany – BSIP offers submission for the vacancy of Scientist:
Qualification: M.Sc or recognized equivalent qualification with a first division in Biosciences/Geology/ Physics/ Chemistry or an allied discipline in Earth Science and 3 years research experience in relevant discipline. OR PhD in relevant discipline.Desirable Qualifications and Experience: Advanced training in Palaeontology/Geobiology/Molecular Palaeonotolgy/ Stratigraphy/ Sedimentology/ Stable Isotope Geochemistry/ Biogeochemistry/Geochronology/Fossil Fuel Exploration/ Glaciology and/or other relevant disciplines, supported by publications of high standard in national/international journals. In addition to the prescribed least qualifications, the applicant should have a consistently good academic record.
