Qualification/Educational Criteria: Full Time Graduate in the relevant Engineering discipline i.e. Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Metallurgical / Electronics & Communication Engineering with 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) or equivalent CGPA in aggregate of all the semesters from a AICTE approved University/Institute.
No. of Vacancy : (Civil-30, Mechanical-25, Electrical-5, Metallurgy Engineering -5, Electronics & Communication Engineering – 2) 67 Posts.
Age Limit(in yrs): Interested candidates who are appearing for this post should have the age of 21-30 years.
Note:The upper age limit is relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below.
i) By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST communities.
ii) By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities.
iii) By 5 years to candidates who have originally been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989.
Pay Scale: Selected candidates would be eligible to get the pay scale of around Rs.20600-46500/-.
Selection Process:The candidates who have qualified GATE 2013 in their respective discipline i.e. Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or Electronics & Communication Engineering are eligible to apply for GET 2013.Candidates will be required to submit their original GATE – 2013 score card for verification at the time of Interview.
Application Fee: Rs.500/- (Rs.100/- for SC/ST, no fee for PH candidate) to be deposited in any branch of Indian Bank through payment challan.
