Prasar Bharati Recruitment 2013 – English Newsreader & Newsreader-cum-Translator Vacancy :Prasar Bharati is a statutory autonomous body established under the Prasar Bharati Act and came into existence on 23.11.1997. It is the Public Service Broadcaster of the country. The objectives of public service broadcasting are achieved in terms of Prasar Bharati Act through All India Radio and Doordarshan, which earlier were working as media units under the Ministry of I&B and since the above said date became constituents of Prasar Bharati.

- Qualifications : Post Graduates with English and Graduates conversant with other Indian Language(s) as may be required for the job and having suitable voice to broadcast.
- Desirable : Should be familiar with Computer. Experience in Journalistic work in Radio/TV.
- Age Limit : 21 Years.
- Pay Scale : Not Specified.
Application Fee : Rs.300 for General Category candidates and Rs.225/ for SC/ST/OBC category candidates will be charged. The Bank Draft worth the respective amount drawn from any nationalised Bank in favour of Director General (News) AIR, New Delhi.
