Educational Qualification :

Qualification for the Assistant Professor Post :– Candidate should have passed 1) Cardiology :- D.M. Cardiology 2) Ophthalmology :- M.S. Ophthalmology 3) Ophthalmology (Biosciences) Non-Medical :- i. Postgraduate qualification e.g. Master’s degree viz., M.Sc. in Microbiology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry or allied subject. ii. Ph.D. degree in the subject concerned/allied subject of an Indian University or its equivalent Ph.D. degree from a foreign University recognized as such by the University Grant Commission. 4) Nephrology :- D.M. Nephrology 5) Renal Transplant Surgery :- M.S. Surgery 6) Pulmonary Medicine :- D.M. Pulmonary Medicine from the recognized University or Institute.
Qualification for the Medical Officer Post :– Candidate should have passed a) A medical qualification included in I or II schedule or Part II of the 3rd schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of the 3rd Schedule should also fulfill the condition specified in section 13(3) of the Act. b) The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council. c) Should have special training in Family Planning & Educational methods. Preference will be given to Postgraduate degree or diploma in the specialty concerned from the recognized University or Institute.
