Educational Qualification:Eligible Applicants have a Degree in Engineering (or) AMIE in Mechanical.Degree in Engineering (BE / B.Tech / B.Sc. Engineering of 4 years duration) (or) AMIE in Mining Engineering.Degree in Engineering (or) AMIE in Instrumentation/Electronics & Instrumentation / Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
Note:Candidates with Degree in Electrical & Communication Engineering will have to appear for GATE-2014 paper in EC code only although it is combined in Electrical Discipline as per NLC’s requirement.Other than the above disciplines or combination degrees are not eligible.

Pay Scale:Eligible candidates will get the pay of Approximate 6.15 Lakhs CTC per annum.
Age Limit: Candidates who are appearing for this post should not have completed 30 years as on 01.12.2013.
Note:The upper age limit is relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below.
i) By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST communities.
ii) By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities.
iii) By 5 years to candidates who have originally been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989.
Selection Process: Eligible candidates will have to appear for GATE-2014. Candidates will be shortlisted based on Actual GATE-2014 Marks only (out of 100) for Group Discussion/Personal Interview. The list of candidates short listed for Group Discussion/Personal Interview will be available in our website www.nlcindia.com and also communicated to the candidates through e-mail.
Application Fees:General / OBC Category: Rs.1,000/- and for SC/ST Category: Rs.800/-.
