Eligibility Criteria
1.Technical Officer – 06
Educational Qualification : Eligible and Interested candidate must have completed their Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy with 4 years experience or Bachelor degree in Pharmacy with two years diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized university/institute with 2 years experience. The applicants must be registered Pharmacist under the Pharmacy act 1948.
Pay Scale : Applicant’s pay scale will be Rs.9300-34800 + Grade pay Rs.4600/-
2.Technical Assistant – 10
Educational Qualification : Eligible and Interested candidate must have completed their Three years Bachelors Degree in Life Science with 2 years experience or Three years Graduate Degree in Life science with 2 years Diploma in Medical Lab Technology from a recognized University /Institute.
Pay Scale : Applicant’s pay scale will be Rs.9300-34800 + Grade pay Rs.4200/-
3.Technician – 13
Educational Qualification : Eligible and Interested candidate must have completed their 10+2 with Science subjects or equivalent from a recognized board with one year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or field related subject from Govt recognized Organizations/Institute/ Medical College and One year experience in Health Surveys. Or 10+2 with science subject with two years diploma in Lab Technology or field related subject
Pay Scale : Applicant’s pay scale will be Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2800/-
4.Lower Division Clerk (LDC) – 04
Educational Qualification : Eligible and Interested candidate must have completed their (i) 12th
Class or equivalent from a recognized Board or University. (ii) A typing speed of 30 w.p.m in English on manual typewriter or typing speed of 35 w.p.m in English on computer (35 w.p.m correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word)
Pay Scale : Applicant’s pay scale will be Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.1900/-
5.Assistant – 02
Educational Qualification : Eligible and Interested candidate must have completed their Bachelors Degree(10+2+3 pattern) from a recognized University.
Pay Scale : Applicant’s pay scale will be Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4600/- + other allowances
6.Personal Assistant – 01
Educational Qualification : Eligible and Interested candidate must have completed their Bachelors Degree (10+2+3 pattern) from a recognized University and minimum speed of 120 wpm in Shorthand and 40 wpm in Typing in English on Computer.
Pay Scale : Applicant’s pay scale will be Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4600/- + other allowances
Age Limit :
Candidates age should not exceed to 35 years . Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules.
Application Fee :
Candidates have to pay the any application fees.All applications should be accompanied by a Bank Demand Draft of Rs.50/- (non-refundable) payable at Gangtok and drawn in favour of Registrar General, High Court of Sikkim, Gangtok.
Selection Process :

All eligible and Interested candidates fulfilling these requirements and candidates fulfilling the eligibility conditions and see the notification.Application forms may be downloaded from the websites www.icmr.nic.in, www.nirt.res.in and duly filled in forms in all aspects and signed by the applicant should be sent to the Office of The Director, National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis, No.1, Mayor Sathiyamoorthy Road, Chetpet, Chennai – 600 031 on or before the closing date along with copies of the certificates in support of date of birth (SSLC certificate), educational qualification (SSLC/HSC/degree/diploma / certificate), proof for all experience mentioned in application etc and a Demand Draft (DD) for Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) towards application fee (non refundable) in favor of “The Director, National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis, Chennai”.
