Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit should not exceed 58 years for Professor Post and 50 years for Additional Professor as on 10-05-2013. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualifications: Candidates should possess A Medical qualification included in the I or II Schedule or Part II of the third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in part II or third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section13 (3) of the Act.MD/MS/DM/M.Ch possessed by the candidate must be recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline or subject with desired experience as per the post.
Application Fee: Candidates need to pay the fee in the form of A Demand Draft in favour of the Accounts Officer, JIPMER, Puducherry payable at State Bank of India, JIPMER Branch, Puducherry-605006 and cost of application form etc., for Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST candidates).
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on the performance in interview.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can apply through prescribed application form and send along with filled application form with attested copies of all relevant certificates and the Bank DD should reach the Office of the Director, JIPMER, Puducherry–605 006 on or before 10-05-2013. A soft copy of the application including the “Brief of the Candidate” in a CD should also be submitted along with the application.

Age Limit: Maximum age limit of the candidates is 35 years for S.No.1 to 10 Posts; 30 years for S.No.11, 12, 15 & 16 Posts; 27 years for S.No.13, 14, 17 & 18 Posts as on 29-04-2013. Relaxation is applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess Degree in Nursing or equivalent for S.No.1 Post; Degree or Diploma in General nursing and Midwifery or equivalent for S.No.2 Post; Degree in Occupational Therapy for S.No.3 Post; Degree in physiotherapy for S.No.4 Post; B.Sc in Medical Radiation Technology (3 years course) or equivalent for S.No.5 Post with relevant experience. Refer notification for post wise details.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Written Test/ Interview.
Application Fee: Candidates need to pay the fee of Rs.500/- (General and OBC) and Rs.250/- (SC/ ST) for S.No.1 to 10 Posts; and Rs.300/- (General and OBC) and Rs.150/- (SC/ ST) for S.No.11 to 18 Posts in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favor of Accounts Officer, JIPMER, Payable at Puducherry (State Bank of India–JIPMER Branch). PwD candidates are exempted from the fees.
How to Apply: Candidates can apply by sending applications in the prescribed format given in the notification along with DD (in original), NOC from present employer, Caste Certificate (if applicable), recent passport size photograph affixed and attested by a Gazetted Officer by super scribing the name of the post applied for on the envelope to the Director, Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Puducherry-605006 on or before 29-04-2013.
