Educational Qualification:Candidates should have a Bachelor of Technology Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institutions.
B.E. / B. Tech. – Fire Full Time (First Class – 60%)
OR
BE / B.Tech – Full Time in Any Discipline (First Class – 60%) With One Year Full Time Diploma (First Class – 60%) in Industrial Safety from Regional Labour Institute (RLI) / Central Labour Institute (CLI).
Experience : Fresher and candidates who have less than 2 Years of post qualification experience in relevant field

Job Description: He would be responsible for implementation of fire & safety systems as per the codes and standards, imparting training to the personnel, implementation of work permit system, conducting safety inspection and audits. He should have the knowledge of Safety Management Systems and Emergency Response and Disaster Management Plan (ERDMP), Fire Engineering, Fire Protection and Prevention System. He shall be responsible for carrying out maintenance, testing/ checking of fire fighting systems, attending gas leak/ fire/ emergency calls, accidents/ incidents/ fire Investigations. He should be familiar with the laws governing the fire and safety regulation/ compliance.
Age Limit: Candidates who are appearing for this post should have the age 28 years as on 01.09.2013.
Note:The upper age limit is relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below.
i) By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST communities.
ii) By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities.
iii) By 5 years to candidates who have originally been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989.

About the Indraprastha Gas Limited :
IGL continues to augment its infrastructure so as to meet the increasing demand of CNG arising out of growing number of CNG vehicles in Delhi. The growth drivers for increase in demand of CNG are – car manufacturers coming up with CNG variants and Delhi Government’s directive making it mandatory for all LCVs operating in Delhi to run on CNG. The company is in the process of enhancing its compression capacity by adding new stations.
