Indian Navy Recruitment 2013 For Senior Secondary Recruits Tezpur : The Directorate of Advertising & Visual Publicity (DAVP) is the nodal agency to undertake multi-media advertising and publicity for various Ministries and Departments of Government of India. Some of the Autonomous Bodies also route their advertisements through DAVP. As a service agency, it endeavours to communicate at grass roots level on behalf of various Central Government Ministries.

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS :

Unmarried Male Indian Citizen from North Eastern States meeting following eligibility criteria are invited to participate in the Recruitment Drive.

Educational Qualifications:

Candidates should have qualified 10+2 /equivalent exam with Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects; optional subjects Chemistry/Biology/ Computers.

Age Limit :

Candidates should have been born between 01 Feb 1993 to 31 Jan 1997 (Both dates inclusive).

SELECTION CRITERIA :

Selection of recruits is based on the order of merit depending on their performance in Written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in the Medical Examinations.

Written Test:

The question paper will be objective type and will comprise of four sections i.e. English, Science, Mathematics and General Knowledge.

Physical Fitness Test (PFT):

PFT will consist of 1.6 Km run to be completed in 7 minutes, 20 squat ups (Uthak Baithak) and 10 Pushups. Candidates undergoing PFT will do so at their own risk. Candidates are to bring their sports shoes and shorts for PFT.

Original and one attested copy of Matriculation certificate.
Original and one attested copy of 10+2 / equivalent examination mark sheet and certificate.
Original and one attested copy of NCC certificates, if any.
One self-addressed envelop of size 22 x 10 cms with Rs 10/- stamp affixed.
Original and one attested photocopy of Domicile Certificate.
Seven recent colour pass port size photographs.

Attesting Officer’s name with office address and seal should be clear and legible.
