Educational Qualification:Applicants must have to a PhD with first class or equivalent Degree from the recognized University or Institution.
Experience: 10 years teaching/research/industrial experience of which at least 4 years
Pay Scale:Eligible candidates will get the pay of Rs.15600-67000/- Plus Grad Pay Rs.10,500/-.
Selection Process: Selection will be on the basis of Personal Interview depending on the number of applications received.
Application Fees:Candidates are required to pay a non refundable application fees of ‐ Rs.200/-(Rupees Two Hundred only) for Gen/OBC candidates and for the SC / ST / PWD their is no any Fees.

About the Indian Institute of Science Education & Research (IISER- Kolkata) :
INDIAN INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE EDUCATION AND RESEARCH KOLKATA (IISER Kolkata) was established in 2006 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. IISER Kolkata is designed to reach the prestigious position in the global setting that IISc, IIMs and IITs presently enjoy. IISER Kolkata is an autonomous institution awarding its own degrees. The central theme of the IISER Kolkata is to integrate education with research so that undergraduate teaching as well as doctoral and postdoctoral research work could be carried out in symbiosis.
Five Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) were created by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, to promote quality education and research in basic science. The first two institutes established under this initiative are IISER Kolkata and IISER Pune in 2006, followed by IISER Mohali in 2007, and IISER Bhopal and IISER Trivandrum in 2008. These are autonomous institutes for higher education and research in science. IISERs are devoted to both teaching and research in an integrated manner – thus nurturing both curiosity and creativity. The mandates have been to teach, motivate, and train students for research in basic science.
