Job Detail:
Name of the Post: Network Manager
Educational Qualification: B.E / B. Tech in IT/CS/EC or equivalent from recognized university.
Desirable Qualification: MBA in Project Management from reputed institutions is preferred.
Skills: Candidates with good managerial, leadership, communication and presentation skills with prescribed qualification and experience shall apply.
Experience:
- Candidate should have 6-8 yrs of experience in network and security implementation, project Management, Vendor Management.
- Candidate should have experience in operations of Network Monitoring Systems (NMS) tool.
- Candidate should have good soft skill
Job Description:
- Monitoring the whole GSWAN Network across the state.
- Maintaining and monitoring all equipments related to GSWAN network.
- In charge of operation and management for overall GSWAN project.
- Responsible for last mile connectivity at Taluka Level, District Level, Head Office and State Level.
- Responsible for managing overall security infrastructure related to the GSWAN Network.
- Responsible for monitoring of GSWAN network operations through Network monitoring tool (NMS)
- Responsible for the highest point of escalation for any problem that occurs in GSWAN backbone anywhere in state and resolves the problem within stipulated time frame.
- Responsible for coordinating with Third party agency, Bandwidth operators and software/equipment’s supplier or vendor.
- Reporting to Government of Gujarat for GSWAN network operations and maintenance on regular basis.
- Responsible to provide services of GSWAN to GoG’s users.
Age Limit(in yrs): Interested candidates who are appearing for this post should have the maximum age of 35 years.
Note:Relaxation in upper age limit to female candidates is 5 years in respective caste & for PH candidates the relaxation in upper age limit is 5 years.
Selection Process:Candidates will be selected based on their performance in personal interview.
