Educational Qualification:Graduate 8.A., B.Com. B.Sc., B.B.A., B.C.A or graduation in anydiscipline with first Trial without ATKT from a recognized Universityand having minimum,
. 55%o in final year exam for General Category (UR)/PH candidates.
. 50o/o in final year exam for SC, ST and SEBC candidates.
Desirable:The knowledge of Computers and English language is required, which shall be assessed be the Company through pre-employment test.
Pay Scale: Selected candidates will draw a starting basic pay of 1″ year – Rs. 6500/-, 2no year – Rs.725O/- & 3’d year Rs. 8000/-. No other allowance or benefits would be admissible except coverageunder Personal Accident Policy etc. as per GSO.332 dtd 03-02-03
Tenure of Service: The elected applicants will be appointed primarily for the time span of 3 years and will be considered on the regular basis after the agreeable and adequate performance of the applicants.
Age:Candidates age limit for this post should not have less than 18 Years and not more than 25 years for General category candidates and not more than 30 years for reserved category candidates as on date of publication of advertisement i.e. 22.09.2013
Age Relaxation:Relaxation in upper age limit to other categories shall be given as under:
Physically Handicapped : 10 Years
Female Candidates : 05 Years
Ex Armed Force Personnel : 05 to 10 years

Employees of DGVCL Company :Up to age of 40 years.
Application Fees : As an essential requirement that is attached with the application fees commands that General (UR), PH, SEBC applicants will pay the amount Rs. 500 and applicants under the category SC (Scheduled caste), ST (Scheduled tribes) will make the payment of Rs. 250. A fee is to be paid by the cash deposit challan and by thestate bank of India (SBI). Fees paid by other means will not be acceptable by the company.
Selection Procedure: Assortment of the applicants is to structure on the basis of the written test and applicants which had been fortuned from the test will be need to undergone with the interview and with the verification of the documents.

About the Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Limited (DGVCL):
Pursuant to direction from Government of Gujarat for reorganization of the power sector in the state, Gujarat Electricity Board has been unbundled into separate seven Companies with functional responsibilities for generation, transmission, distribution and trading of electricity with complete autonomous operations.
Accordingly, the distribution undertakings and functions of the Southern Distribution Zone of the erstwhile GEB stand transferred to and vest in Dakshin Gujrat Vij Company Limited.The company was incorporated as a Public Limited Company on 15th September, 2003, primarily to carry out distribution of electricity to retail and bulk consumers and has become operational effective from 1st April 2005. The Company is engaged in distribution of electricity in 7 districts namely Bharuch, Narmada, Surat (except part of Surat City), Tapi, Dangs, Navsari and Valsad in South Gujarat. The Company is a wholly owned subsidiary Company of Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited, a government Company. The Company was incorporated with an authorized Capital of Rs. 10 Lacs divided into 1,00,000 equity shares of Rs.10/- each , the same has been increased to Rs. 500 Crores.
