Damodar Valley Corporation Recruitment 2013 – Graduate Engineers Trainees 37–Post :To foster integrated development of Damodar Valley Command Area and achieve par excellence in its multifaceted activities of control of floods, provision of irrigation, generation, transmission and distribution of electrical energy and also soil conservation, unified tourism, fisheries, socio-economic & health development of villages within a radius of 10 KM of its projects.
The asigned mission of the Damodar Valley Corporation under Section 12 of the DVC Act, 1948:
1.Flood control
2.Promotion and operation of schemes for irrigation.
3.Water supply for industrial and domestic use.
4.Navigation and drainage
5.Generation, transmission and distribution of electrical energy.
6.Promotion of afforestation and control of soil erosion in valley area.
7.Promotion of public health, agriculture, industrial, economic and general well being in Damodar valley.

Qualification :Candidates who wish to apply for this post must posess the following skill and criteria: 4 years Full time Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics/Civil Engineering/Instrumentation & Control / Instrumentation / Applied Electronics & Instrumentation /Electronics & Instrumentation / Electronics & Telecommunication from any recognized Indian College/Institution/ University approved by AICTE with not less than 65% marks (General/OBC)/60% marks (SC/ST) in aggregate of all years/Semesters as per conversion formula of the concerned University/ Institution.
Note:All educational qualifications should be from a recognised university/ Board.
Pay Scale/Salary(in Rs.): Selected candidates would be eligible to get the pay scale of around Rs.15600-39100/-.
Age limit : Interested candidates who are appearing for this post should have the age of 29 years.
NOTE :The relaxation in Upper age relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST as applicable.Upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for only those candidates belonging to ‘Non- Creamy Layer’.
Service Agreement Bond:The selected candidates will have to execute a service agreement bond of Rs.2 Lakhs to be submitted in the prescribed format at the time of joining in DVC for serving at least 3(Three) years after successful completion of one year probation period.
Application Fees:General & OBC candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs 300 (State bank of India has been authorised by DVC to collect the application fee, ina specially opened DVC Account No. 31728459593(Power Jyoti Scheme) at SBI ,CAG Branch , Kolkata (9998) on behalf of DVC.
Slection Process: Eligible candidates would be required to undergo an All India written test. Candidates will be shortlisted for Group Discussion and Personnel Interview based on the performance in written test.
