Educational Qualification :

Scientist/ Senior Scientist : M.E./M.Tech. in identical regulation/ B.E/B.Tech with advance diploma from AcSIR in applicable regulation and three years experience/ PhD in applicable regulation.
Principal Scientist/ Senior Principal Scientist : PhD in applicable engineering discipline with 6 years experience.

Age Limit :

Scientist : 32 years
Senior Scientist : 37 years
Principal Scientist : 45 years
Senior Principal Scientist : 50 years

Age of Relaxation :

SC/ST candidates : 05 years
OBC candidates : 03 years
PWD candidates : 10 years
