Educational Qualification:Candidates should have a Diploma in Mining Engineering of 3 ( Three) years duration from recognized institute.
OR
Matriculation from any recognized Board.

Note: 1. Candidates, who are having requisite qualification for more than one post, may apply for one post only as per their choice, for which they have to give written option.

Pay Scale:Selected candidates would be eligible to get the pay scale of around Rs.19035.02-20552.37/-
Age Limit: Candidates who are appearing for this post should have the 18 years of age and also not more than 30 years of age as on 10th October, 2013.
Note:The upper age limit is relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below.
i) By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST communities.
ii) By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities.

About the Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL):
Bharat Coking Coal Limited gave an annual coal production of around 30 million tonnes in 2010-11 with a profit of INR 1094 crores. The company is under checks by the BIFR (Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction) due to the losses incurred by it in previous years. It has a manpower of about 67,900.
Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) is a subsidiary of Coal India Limited with its headquarters in Dhanbad, India.[1] It was incorporated in January, 1972 to operate coking coal mines (214 in number) operating in the Jharia and Raniganj Coalfields, taken over by the government of India on 16th Oct, 1971.
The company operates 81 coal mines which include 40 underground, 18 opencast and 23 mixed mines at April 2010. The company also runs six coking coal washeries, two non-coking coal washeries, one captive power plant (2 by 10 megawatt), and five by-product coke plants. The mines are grouped into 13 areas for administration purposes.
