Baroda UP Gramin Bank invites applications from Indian citizens, for the post of Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager) and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) who have appeared at the Common Written Examination for RRBs conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and declared qualified.

The RRBs were established in India under RRB Act 1976 [23(1)]. Bank of Baroda had sponsored 19 RRBs in the country of which 7 RRBs were in eastern Uttar Pradesh. During the period from 1976 to 2006 banking industry had undergone various changes and RRBs were no exception. Considering the need for structural changes in RRBs in view of dynamically changing economic scenario, Govt. of India vide its notification dt. 23.02.2006 amalgamated 7 RRBs of Eastern Uttar Pradesh namely Allahabad Kshetriya Gramin Bank, Sultanpur Kshetriya Gramin Bank, Faizabad  Kshetriya Gramin Bank, Pratapgarh Kshetriya Gramin Bank, Kanpur Kshetriya Gramin Bank, Raebareli Kshetriya Gramin Bank, Fatehpur Kshetriya Gramin Bank, and 2 RRBs of Western Uttar Pradesh namely Bareilly Kshetriya Gramin Bank, Shahjahanpurr Kshetriya Gramin Bank sponsored by Bank of Baroda. Thus emerged two new corporatescalled Baroda Eastern Uttar Pradesh Gramin Bank and Baroda Western Uttar Pradesh Gramin Bank with their Head Offices in Raebareli and Bareilly respectively. After a shortwhile from this restructuring, govt. of India vide notification dt. 31st March 2008, let the two banks amalgamate to form a new entity called Baroda Uttar Pradesh Gramin Bank with itsHead Office in Raebareli.

Age Limit(in yrs): Interested candidates who are appearing for this post should have the age of 18-28 years .

Age Relaxation:In case of OBC 3 year’s age relaxation, 5(five) years age relaxation in case of SC/ST candidates and 5 (five) years age relaxation in case of in-service regular Government Servant. The upper age limit is relaxed up to 50 years in the case of Group “C” and “D” persons working under State Government /NHPC and other Central Government establishment or undertakings in the State of Sikkim on MR/Adhoc/Substitute/Contract/Work Charge basis. In- Service candidate should apply through proper channel.

Pay Scale/Salary(in Rs.):Selected candidates would be eligible to get the pay scale of around

Note:Inclusive of D.A. & HRA at the current rates depending on the place of posting. CCA, Medical Aid, LTC, Gratuity, etc. will be admissible as per Rules of the Bank.

Some Important Instructions:

(ii) Candidates should ensure that their personal email ID (as specified in the online application form while applying for RRBs- Common Written Examination CWE conducted in September 2012) is kept active during the currency of a recruitment project. Bank may send call letters for Interview etc. to the registered e-mail ID.

(iii) Applicants are first required to go to the Bank’s website www.barodagraminbank.com and click on the link “Recruitment”.

(iv) Thereafter, open the Recruitment Notification.

  • the candidate should take a printout of the fee payment challan
  • Fill in the Fee Payment Challan in a clear and legible handwriting in BLOCK LETTERS.
  • Candidates can pay application fees including postal charges in any of the branches of the Bank of Baroda in the account number specified and printed on the payment Challan only.
  • Go to the nearest Bank of Baroda Branch with the Fee payment Challan and pay, in Cash, the appropriate Application Fee in CBS Account Nos. 00520200000638in respect of Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager) and CBS Account no. 00520200000639 in respect of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) .

(v) Obtain the Applicant’s Counterfoil Copy of the Application Fee Payment Challan duly authenticated by the Bank with (a) Branch Name & code No, (b) Transaction Id/Scroll number (c) Date of Deposit & amount filled by the Branch Official.

(vi) Candidates are now ready to Apply Online by re-visiting the Recruitment Link on the Bank’s website www.barodagraminbank.com All the fields in the online Application format should be filled up carefully.

(vii) Carefully fill in the details such as fee payment details from the CBS Challan in the Online Application Form, scores obtained in stipulated CWE etc. at the appropriate places.

(viii) Original fee payment receipt i.e CBS challan will have to be submitted with the Call Letter at the time of Interview. Without original CBS challan the candidate will not be allowed to appear in the Interview. Candidates are also
advised to keep a photocopy of the fee payment challan with them.
