2 Stipendiary Interns (For Accounts Field)

Minimum 60 % Marks in M.Com./ MBA (Finance). Computer Skill : The applicant should be well conversant with usage of Computer and able to handle web based search on internet email. etc

3 Stipendiary Interns (For Administrative Field)

Minimum 60 % Marks in MBA (HR). Computer Skill : The applicant should be well conversant with usage of Computer and able to handle web based search
on internet email. etc.

ELIGIBILITY :A Candidate must be a bonafide Gurkha and an inhabitant of Nepal orIndia. The Gurkha Candidate residing in India must have registered his name in any ofthe Employment Exchanges of the concerned State before the date of advertisement for recruitment. Gurkhas of Nepal must be in possession of valid Citizenship of Nepal.Women candidates are not eligible for recruitment

Pay Scale: 

  1. Rs. 20000/- per month (consolidated) for M.Sc.
  2. Rs. 24000/- per month (consolidated) for M.Tech / Ph.D.
  3. No other allowance is admissible.

Computer Skill:The applicant should be well conversant with usage of Computer and able to handle web based search on internet email. etc.

Age Limit: The upper age limit is 30 years as on 1.10.2013.

Age Relaxation: 

  1. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST candidates by 5 years & OBC candidates by 3 years as per extant Rules. OBC candidates should bring along fresh non creamy layer certificate 
  2. Application should be made in the prescribed proforma (attached) and presented on the date of interview.

Selection Process:Selection will be made on the basis of interview after screening/ shortlisting. The process may include a written test. Merely fulfilling the educational qualification will not be a claim for written test/ interview call. In the event of number of applications being large, the Academy has rights for shortlisting criteria to restrict the number of candidates to be called for written test/ interview to a reasonable number on the basis of higher educational qualifications than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement or on the basis of higher experience or any other method as decided by the Academy. The decision of the Academy will be final and binding on the candidates.

About the  Indian National Science Academy :

The Indian National Science Academy promotes science and its use in India. It was originally established in 1935 and was known as the ‘National Institute of Sciences of India’ until the present name was adopted in 1970. The Government of India recognized it in 1945 as the premier scientific society representing all branches of science in India. In 1968, it was designated as the adhering organization in India to the International Council for Science (ICSU) on behalf of the Government of India. It is headquartered in New Delhi.The Academy consists of Foundation fellows, Fellows and Foreign Fellows. Election to the Academy is only by nomination. The objectives of the academy encompass promotion of science in India including its application to national welfare, safeguarding the interests of the scientists, establishing linkages with international bodies to foster collaboration and expressing considered opinion on national issues.
It also plays a crucial role in promoting, recognizing and rewarding excellence. With a view to promoting the pursuit of excellence in the field of ‘Science and Technology’, the academy has instituted 59 awards, placed in 4 categories, viz International Awards, General Medal & Lecture Awards, Subjectwise Medals/Lectures and Awards for Young Scientists. It also publishes journals, organizes scientific discussions and brings out proceedings and monographs.
