Educational Qualification: 

1. Engineering Assistant (Telecom & Instrumentation)
Three years Full Time Diploma in Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Telecommunication /  Electronics & Radio Communication / Instrumentation & Control / Instrumentation / Process control
Engineering from a government recognized Institute.
2. Technical Attendant-I
Matric / 10th pass and ITI pass from a government recognized Institute. The candidate should possess
Provisional Trade Certificate / National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by NCVT in any of the following
ITI trade.

Experiance:Preferably but not essential, two-years post qualification experience in relevant area. Working knowledge of computer is desirable.

CONCESSION & RELAXATION:

1. Upper age relaxation of 5 years for Scheduled Caste candidates and 3 years for Other Backward Class
candidates for the posts reserved for them. Upper age relaxation of 10 years for Persons With Disabilities (PWD). Age relaxation for Ex-servicemen as per rules.
2. SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
3. SC/ST candidates called for test/interview will be reimbursed single 2nd class railway fare limited to rail fare from the nearest railway station of the mailing address to the place of test/interview and back by the shortest route, on production of bus ticket/rail ticket provided the distance is not less than 30 kms. each side.

Pay Scale:Selected candidates would be eligible to get the pay scale of around Rs.11900-32000/-.

Age Limit: Candidates who are appearing for this post should have the age 18-26 Years.

Selection Process: The selection methodology will comprise Written Test followed by Trade test and Personal Interview of successful candidates from Written Test. The candidates will have to pass through each stage including medical fitness successfully for being adjudged as suitable for selection.

Application Fees:Application Fee (non-refundable) of Rs.100/-(Rupees One Hundred only) through crossed Demand Draft in favour of INDIAN OIL CORPORATION LIMITED.- PIPELINES DIVISION payable at State Bank of India, Unsani Branch, Howrah (Branch Code: 2134) should be enclosed along with application form. Any other mode of payment is not acceptable and application not accompanying the application fee will be rejected without any further reference to the applicant.

General Condition:

1. Candidates are advised to carefully read the full advertisement for details of eligibility criteria before

2. Service is transferable to anywhere in India.
3. Candidates employed in Government/Semi government/Public Sector Organization must send their  application  through proper channel or produce “No Objection Certificate” at the time of appearing in
the Test/Interview. In case the candidate fails to do so, his/her candidature will not be considered.
4. SC/ST/OBC candidates applying against un-reserved posts shall be considered under general standards
and no relaxation in age, qualification marks etc. shall be extended to them.
5. Candidates should apply in the prescribed format only (Download Application Form) along with
application fee (wherever applicable), attested copies of mark sheets, educational qualification
certificates, caste certificate and a recent passport size coloured photograph affixed on the application
form.
6. Incomplete applications or applications received after the last date will not be considered.
7. SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer) candidates should submit their caste certificate issued by Competent
Authority in the prescribed format along with the application form, in support of their claim to avail
relaxation/concession.
8. Application of a candidate having higher qualification than the prescribed qualification shall be
rejected.
9. The candidates will have the option to appear for test/interview either in Hindi or English.
10. Canvassing in any form shall disqualify the candidature
