SJVN is also diversifying into thermal, solar and wind energy generation with 1320 MW at Buxar and 47.6MW at Khirewire along with entering into transmission business.

Qualification :Candidates who wish to apply for this post must posess the following skill and criteria: Graduate/Masters degree in Required discipline from a recognized institution.
Percentage of Marks: Simple pass for CA/ICWA/CS & for other prescribed qualification aggregate 50% marks for SC/ST/PWD and 55% marks for others.
Note:All educational qualifications should be from a recognised university/ Board
Age limit : Interested candidates who are appearing for this post should have the age of 30 years .
NOTE :The relaxation in Upper age relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST as applicable.Upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for only those candidates belonging to ‘Non- Creamy Layer’.
Service Agreement Bond: The selected candidates who belong to General and OBC category will be required to execute a service agreement bond of R. 2, 50,000/- to successfully complete the prescribed training and thereafter serve the company for at least 3 years. This amount is R.1,50,000/- for SC/ST category and Physically Challenged candidates.
Application Fees:General and OBC category candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of R 300/-.
Mode of payment of Application fee: There will be two payment options, online (Payment Gateway) or Offline (Bank Challan/ Payin-slip). A candidate may opt for any one of the payment modes and proceed further accordingly.
Slection Process: Eligible candidates would be required to undergo an All India written test. Candidates will be shortlisted for Group Discussion and Personnel Interview based on the performance in written test.
Test Centers: The written test will be held in the following centers: Shimla, Dehradun, New
Delhi and Patna. Candidates have to choose any two cities as preference -1 and preference-2
as Test Center and no change in any circumstance will be considered subsequently. However,
SJVN reserves the right to add/delete any Center and allocate any Center to the candidates.
Placement: The selected Trainees shall undergo one year training at various places. The final place of posting will be allocated after successful completion of training. Candidates can be placed anywhere in India or abroad, in any of the functions at Projects/ Stations or offices.
