IBPS RRB Office Assistant Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality / Citizenship:

A candidate must be either –
A Citizen of India or
A subject of Nepal or
A subject of Bhutan or
A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or,
A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Educational Qualification :

I. For Officer Scale I: Candidates must possess Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent and must have proficiency in local language and Computer knowledge or awareness will be an added qualification. Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy

II. For Officer Scale II (General Banking Officer): Candidates must possess the qualification of Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy.

III. For Officer Scale II (Specialist Officer):

(a). Information Technology Officer: Degree from a recognized University in Electronics/ Communication/ Computer Science/ Information Technology or its equivalent with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Certificate in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP etc is desirable.

(b). Chartered Accountant: Certified Associate ship (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

(c). Law Officer: Degree from a recognized University in Law or its equivalent with at least 50% marks.

(d). Treasury Manager: Certified Associate ship (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or MBA in Finance from a recognized university/ institution.

(e). Marketing Officer: MBA in Marketing from a recognized university.

(f). Agricultural Officer: Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy/ Animal Husbandry/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisciculture from a recognized university or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

IV. For Officer Scale III: Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to the candidates having Degree/ Diploma in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Co-operation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy.

Applicant’s pay scale will be as per norm of company.

Age Limitation :

For Scale I Officer Posts: Candidates age should be between 18 years to 28 years, in other words Candidates must have been born not earlier than 03.07.1985 and not later than 30.06.1995 (both dates inclusive).

For Scale II Officer Posts: Candidates age should be between 21 years to 32 years, in other words Candidates must have been born not earlier than 03.07.1982 and not later than 30.06.1993 (both dates inclusive).

For Scale II Officer Posts: Candidates age should be between 21 years to 40 years, in other words Candidates must have been born not earlier than 03.07.1974 and not later than 30.06.1993 (both dates inclusive).
