Name of the Post :-Junior Engineer (Mechanical)

Educational Qualification :

Interested candidate should have passed a). Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from recognized institution or equivalent OR b). Diploma in Mechatronics OR c). Diploma in Tools & Die making OR d). Diploma in Manufacturing Technology along with Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (LME) for the educational and other qualification required for Direct Recruitment in the post of Junior Engineer/Foreman (Mech.) Grade-II from the recognized University or Institute.

Age Limit :

Candidate’s age should have attained the age of 18 years, but should not have exceeded 30 years as on first day of the Advertisement. The maximum age limit shall be relaxed up to 5 years in respect of candidates belonging to B.L., S.T., S.C. & 4 yrs. for MBC candidates and 03 yrs. for OBC candidates. The upper age limit shall be relaxed up to 50 years relaxation granted Vide Notification No. M(3)PT.III/74/GEN/DOP date: 23.11.2012

Pay Scale :

Rs.9300-34800/-

Application Fee:

General, OBC and other unreserved category candidates need to pay Rs. 25/- while SC/ST and other reserved category candidates are exempted from paying application fee.

Selection Process :

Candidates would be selected based on their performance in written test and interview.

The form should be filled up by the candidate himself/herself and submitted in the office of the Sikkim Public Service Commission on any working day between 11:00 a.m. to 03:00 p.m. along with original Bank Receipt of State Bank of Sikkim, for Rs. 150/- credited to ‘0051-SPSC’. The complete application form should reach the Secretary, Sikkim Public Service Commission, Old West Point School complex, Near Police Headquarter, Gangtok by hand or by post on or before 03:00 P.M. on 07.06.2014
