Educational Qualification :

Qualification for the Pilot Post :– Candidate should have passedi) Must hold a certificate of competency as Master of a Foreign-going ship issued by the Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India. (ii) One year post-qualification experience as Master / Chief Officer of a foreign-going ship from the recognized University or Institute.
Qualification for the Assistant Manager (Marine Engineering) Post :– Candidate should have passed (ii) MOT II Class Motor Certificate issued under Merchant Shipping Act, 1958. (ii) Two years experience as independent Watch Keeping Engineer on board a foreign going ship.
Qualification for the Accounts Officer Post :– Candidate should be Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or of Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India. Desirable : Two years experience in executive cadre in the field of Finance/Accounting in an industrial/ commercial / Govt. undertaking.

Pay Scale :

Pay Scale for the Pilot Post :– Rs.32900-3%-58000/-P.M.
Pay Scale for the Assistant Manager (Marine Engineering) Post :– Rs.20600-3%-46500/-P.M.
Pay Scale for the Accounts Officer Post :– Rs.20600-3%-46500/-P.M.
