Educational Qualification :
The incumbent should be Graduate in Library and Information Science. Masters Degree in Library and Information Science shall be preferred. One year’s post qualification experience in a reputed academic Library and working knowledge of LibSys (Library software) is desirable. A specialized training of one year from a recognized institution / organization in IT applications is required. The incumbent should also be well versed to work in a computerized environment.
Pay Scale :
Rs.15000/-P.M.
Job Profile:
Incumbent shall be required to manage main Counter duties like Issue and return of books, membership (internal & institutional), maintain records of exchange of IRMA publications, maintain stock of journals / periodicals / newspapers subscriptions and assist in stock verification. S/he shall manage Inter-Library Loan and Document Delivery Services, bound volumes of books/ periodicals.
Age Limit:
Candidates age should be between 18 years to 27 years . Age relaxation is applicable as per the Government rules and regulation.
